Isabella has struggled against Maplesville recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Jakobe Nix, who scored 16 points along with five steals for Maplesville. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah McCary, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Isabella's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Maplesville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Isabella will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central of Coosa County at 7:00 p.m. As for Maplesville, they will head out on the road to face off against Notasulga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
