The Enterprise Wildcats will venture away from home to  face off against the Choctawhatchee Indians  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Enterprise sitting on  three straight  wins and Choctawhatchee on nine.
Enterprise is headed into the  contest after thoroughly thrashing Smiths Station: they outscored them in every quarter. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Enterprise to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Mason Burkhardt, who threw for 205 yards and two  TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes. Those  205  passing yards gave  Burkhardt a new career-high.  Cates Blackmon also helped out with an impressive 80  receiving yards.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Enterprise's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Walker Turner,  Gavin Whiteside,  and  Corey Means, who each picked up one  sack apiece. Enterprise got some further help from  Turner: he picked up  a  sack and made 13 total tackles.
Meanwhile, Choctawhatchee gave up the first  points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They breezed past Fort Walton Beach to the tune of  42-3. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  27-3.
 A big part of Choctawhatchee's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Tamen Zabetakis and his top target  Zion Legree. Zabetakis threw for 185 yards and three  touchdowns while  Legree picked up 93 receiving yards and a pair of  scores. Legree got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 58 yards.
 Choctawhatchee's record is now 9-0. As for Enterprise, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
 Enterprise couldn't quite finish off Choctawhatchee in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024 and fell  17-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  the Indians'  Von'Tavius Keller, who rushed for 169 yards and one  TD.
