After losing to the Boswell Scorpions the last time they met, the Clayton Bulldogs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clayton walked away with a 61-48 win over Boswell on Tuesday.
Layton Brown was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Shelton Lewis, who scored 8 points along with 14 rebounds.
Clayton's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Boswell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Clayton will square off against Lakewood Christian at 2:10 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boswell, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fort Towson at 8:00 p.m.
