One of the most notable came from Kooper Beard, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown. Those 72 rushing yards gave Beard a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Grady Schmidt, who rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Huntley Project, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.
