Community Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Blackburn, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackburn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Marquez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Dallas Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Community Christian the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Immanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Immanuel Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Community Christian likes a good challenge. Dallas Academy on the road again on Tuesday and play against St. Paul's Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
