Charleston came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Mansfield. For Charleston, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory Mansfield walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Charleston pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Mansfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charleston will challenge Alma at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Airedales will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mansfield, they will face off against Paris at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
