Myers Park is returning to their home pitch after beating Pinecrest on theirs, despite the fact Pinecrest has dominated at home this season. Myers Park came out on top against Pinecrest by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Berry was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to Ballantyne Ridge. While losing is never fun, Berry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Ballantyne Ridge are ranked 147th).

Myers Park pushed their record up to 6-5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four contests. As for Berry, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
