Kewaunee is 9-1 against Peshtigo since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Storm will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The last four games Kewaunee has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
If Kewaunee beats Peshtigo with two runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Storm skirted past Gibraltar/Washington Island 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Brett Paulsen made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Diesel Bosdeck was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
Meanwhile, Peshtigo came up short against Sturgeon Bay on Friday and fell 13-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Clippers: they've now lost three in a row.
Elliot Proft made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Aiden Reiswitz, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Kewaunee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Peshtigo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Kewaunee came out on top in a nail-biter against Peshtigo in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
