The Oswego East Wolves will face off against the Plainfield East Bengals at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Oswego East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game  this season.
Oswego East gave up the first  runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They came out on top against Plainfield South by a score of  8-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wolves.
  Olivia Owles was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Danielle Stone was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Plainfield East came out on top against Bolingbrook  on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Bengals were the clear victors by  a  13-2 margin over the Raiders. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight  runs or more this season.
 Jocelyn Cushard made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Maya Patel tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kaleigh Cawthon, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Avery Welsh, who  went 2-for-5 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Plainfield East  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolingbrook only managed one  hit.
 Plainfield East has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Oswego East, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
