The Navarre Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Tate Aggies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Navarre is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
Navarre's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Choctawhatchee as they made off with an 11-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

04/07/25 @ Crestview | 1 |
02/27/25 vs Choctawhatchee | 1 |
04/16/24 @ Gulf Breeze | 1 |
03/16/24 vs DeSoto Central | 1 |
Karsyn Riddle was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).
In other batting news, Navarre let Adison Mobley and Natalia Taylor run wild. Mobley went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple, while Taylor scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Mobley has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Peyton Daniel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Navarre was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Tate entered their tilt with Gulf Breeze on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Dolphins. That's two games straight that the Aggies have won by just one run.
Peyton Womack made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. Womack was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season.
Womack wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mykamia Padgett, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Tate's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Navarre, their record now sits at 8-6.
Tate's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Navarre hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Tate, though, as they've only averaged .253. Will they be able to contain Navarre's hitters?
Navarre beat Tate 16-11 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
