The heavy lifting was done by Timmy Thames and Abe Stephens who racked up seven sacks between them. Thames didn't just play on offense: he also picked up five sacks, forced a fumble, and made 12 total tackles (6.0 for loss) which he returned for a touchdown. Atlas HomeSchool got some further help from Ostyn Ramsey: he forced two fumbles and made nine total tackles (1.0 for loss).
The victory got Atlas HomeSchool back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlas HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Newman International Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
