LJ Borrego put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

Looking ahead, Borrego and Sultana will face off against Loyola at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cubs will enter the matchup having just beaten Sierra Canyon, so the Sultans will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
