The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders extended their postseason success on Friday against the Bishop Moore Hornets. They blew past the Hornets 73-47. Lake Highland Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 25 points or more this season.
Lake Highland Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ari Woodard led the charge by dropping a triple-double on 16 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. It was the first time this season that Woodard posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Lexi Blue, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
The win (which was Lake Highland Prep's sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-5. As for Bishop Moore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season.
Lake Highland Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop Moore also has no future games currently scheduled.
