Pioneer's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Dahler, who rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown. Devion Corley got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Pioneer has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 8-3 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points per game. As for Rio Linda, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Pioneer will look to defend their home field on Friday against Ceres at 7:00 p.m. Rio Linda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
