Wasatch Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of St. Raymond Boys. The Wasatch Academy Tigers snuck past the St. Raymond Boys Ravens with a 62-58 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Wasatch Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isiah Harwell, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Miller, who put up 14 points.

St. Raymond Boys lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being NaJay Bess, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 17 points. Luis Carillo-Moss was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 17 points.

Wasatch Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for St. Raymond Boys, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Wasatch Academy is on the road again on Tuesday to play Bishop O'Connell at 12:00 p.m. One thing working in Bishop O'Connell's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. St. Raymond Boys has already played their next game, a 59-53 defeat against Orem on the 14th.
