The Medina Battling Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Perry Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Medina is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Ohio (the Battling Bees are ranked 130th, while the Panthers are ranked 371st).
Even though Mentor scored an imposing 62 points on Friday, Medina still came out on top. Medina took their contest against the Cardinals 73-62.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Perry had to settle for a 44-42 loss against the Bulldogs on Friday. Perry has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their defeat, Perry saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Luke Wolf, who scored 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Nico Martelli, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Medina's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
