Tyselle Spencer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 215 yards and two touchdowns for Northeastern.
Whiteville's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Northeastern, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 14-0 record.
Whiteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northeastern will head out on the road to face off against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Northeastern likes a good challenge.
