Magnificat had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Rhodes Rams as the Magnificat Blue Streaks made off with  a  29-7 win.

Kennedy was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with four  RBI and a  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kate Hershey, who  scored five  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.  Summer Solitaria was another key contributor,  going 2-for-2 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI.
 Magnificat will head out on the road to  square off against  Lake Catholic at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Rhodes, they will be playing at home against Valley Forge at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
