Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lynae Paget, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 11 points. The dominant performance gave Paget a new career-high in points. Lucy Alexander was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.
Even though they lost, Natoma smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.
Lakeside found their leader in sophomore Kaylee Otte, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. Otte is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Miller, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.
Natoma's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Lakeside, their win bumped their record up to 4-17.
Coming up, Natoma will head out to challenge Axtell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Natoma has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lakeside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
