Football Recap: Lompoc Piles Up the Points Against Cabrillo

Lompoc never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Cabrillo Conquistadores 41-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Braves' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Conquistadores are ranked 544th).

Lompoc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ava Adams and Brynn Reyna. Reyna got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got Lompoc back to even at 2-2. As for Cabrillo, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lompoc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 28-7 win against Righetti on the 13th. As for Cabrillo, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-0 loss against San Luis Obispo on the 13th.
