Charlotte Country Day School managed a 60-55 win over the Hawks. This was payback for Charlotte Country Day School, who suffered a 41-38 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Charlotte Country Day School found their leader in underclassman Sam Vanderhave, who scored 19 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Margaret Blythe, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Charlotte Country Day School's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Charlotte Latin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte Country Day School will play host again and welcome the Chargers, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charlotte Latin, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
