The Ardrey Kell Knights can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past Comenius, posting a 75-39 victory at home. The win was all the more spectacular given Ardrey Kell's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 223rd in North Carolina, while Comenius is ranked 94th in South Carolina).
It was another big night for Delani Hammonds, who scored 14 points along with 7 assists. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryceton Thomas, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
Ardrey Kell's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Comenius, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-3.
