Gate City is a perfect 3-0 against Richlands since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Gate City will take on Richlands at 5:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Gate City sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over Richlands. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Blue Tornado recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Cox, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Zachary DePriest was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Gate City now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Richlands, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Gate City skirted past Richlands 8-7 in their previous meeting on Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gate City since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
