The Ada-Borup Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Win-E-Mac Patriots at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Ada-Borup has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 263 points over their last four games.
Last Friday, Ada-Borup made easy work of Lake Park-Audubon and carried off a 69-46 win.
Ada-Borup's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Mason Larson, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds, and Cameron Spaeth, who scored 16 points along with 5 assists. The contest was Spaeth's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Charles Scholl, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, even though Fosston scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, Win-E-Mac still came out on top. Win-E-Mac walked away with a 63-55 victory over Fosston. The win was just what Win-E-Mac needed coming off of a 86-59 defeat in their prior matchup.
Ada-Borup's victory bumped their season record to 4-0 while Lake Park-Audubon's defeat dropped theirs to 2-2.
Everything came up roses for Ada-Borup against Win-E-Mac in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 88-55 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ada-Borup since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
