Luc Aguilar Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Seton Catholic got the W thanks in part to Luc Aguilar playing the best football he has all season. Aguilar rushed for 298 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Aguilar has averaged 43.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 14.

Kanai Hongo Delivers Best Effort of Season
Kanai Hongo produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Gila Ridge to the win on Thursday. Hongo rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Gila Ridge is undefeated when Hongo posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
The win got Gila Ridge back to even at 3-3. Hongo and Gila Ridge will face off against Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
