Tuscumbia is 0-9 against Linn since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tuscumbia Lions will head out on the road to take on the Linn Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to 64 points the game before, Tuscumbia were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 81-22 defeat at the hands of Eugene. While losing is never fun, Tuscumbia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Eugene is ranked 35th).
Meanwhile, Linn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Elizabeth. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), Linn still had to take the loss.
Tuscumbia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Linn, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-15.
Tuscumbia took a serious blow against Linn in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 77-43.
