Baseball Recap: Ringgold Takes a Loss

Ringgold managed to slip by Trinity the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Hillers on Friday, falling 12-2. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hillers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Ringgold saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Nash, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Nash is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Gavin Angotti also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Ringgold has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Trinity, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringgold will face off against Albert Gallatin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will square off against Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hillers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
