The Thompson Tommies lost against the Four Winds/Minnewaukan Indians back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Thompson was dealt a 62-31 defeat at the hands of Four Winds/Minnewaukan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Thompson has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Thompson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brayden Wolfgram. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Drew Overby, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Thompson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Thompson will take on Carrington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carrington is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, they will head out on the road to take on Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grafton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 846 points over their last 11 matches.
