The Diego Rivera Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Triumph Charter Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Diego Rivera is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Diego Rivera didn't have too much trouble with the Phoenix on the road as they won 61-47. The win was just what Diego Rivera needed coming off of a 95-60 defeat in their prior match.
Diego Rivera's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Curtis Washington, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristopher Zamora, who scored 12 points.
In what's become a running theme this season, Triumph Charter gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 80-35 win over Lakeview Charter at home. Winning may never get old, but Triumph Charter sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Triumph Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Antonio Garcia III, who scored 21 points. Garcia III hasn't dropped below 21 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Oswaldo Araiza, who scored 19 points.
Diego Rivera's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Triumph Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.
