Chicago Vocational can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past EPIC Academy 84-33 at home. With that victory, Chicago Vocational brought their scoring average up to 58 points per game.
It was another big night for Ron Thigpen, who scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Chicago Vocational's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendaro Cassidy, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 assists.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Urban Prep-Bronzeville's win pushed their record up to 2-0, while EPIC Academy's defeat dropped theirs down to 0-2.
