As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davenport has scored all season. Jakhai Jones was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
When it comes to explaining why Sunrise Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elijah Redic. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. Redic continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brice Wilson, who scored 11 points.
Las Vegas has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Sunrise Mountain, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Las Vegas will face off against Silverado at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
