After losing to West Bolivar the last time they met, Leland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Leland were able to grind out a solid win over West Bolivar on Friday, winning 14-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for Leland as it put an end to their 4-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Leland's record up to 1-4. West Bolivar are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Leland take on West Tallahatchie at 7:00 PM. West Bolivar will look to defend their home turf against Coahoma Agricultural at 7:00 PM. West Bolivar come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
