A Season-Best Effort from Josiah Daniel Leads J.F. Webb over Carrboro
On Friday, J.F. Webb got the W thanks in part to Josiah Daniel playing the best football he has all season. Daniel rushed for 265 yards and a touchdown while picking up 15.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
The win snapped J.F. Webb's losing streak at nine games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record. They and South Granville are set to duel on Friday.
