Ty Jones Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Russell Christian Academy got the W thanks in part to Ty Jones playing the best football he has all season. Jones' rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards.
Unfortunately for Victory Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Jones. Jones rushed for 247 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.
