On Tuesday Owen Farrell scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was his third in a row with one or more stolen bases. This season, he has slashed 0.317/0.425/0.383 with 21 runs, plus 14 stolen bases.

Farrell's strong effort led Charlotte Christian over Cannon and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are 9-1 against the Cougars going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
