On Friday Lakeside take on Tescott at 8 Man Division 2 District 4 Game at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
After having lost a blowout to Rock Hills in their previous game, Lakeside were happy to find some success last Friday. Lakeside took down Linn 54-38. Senior Caleb Hake was the offensive standout of the match for Lakeside, as he passed for 201 yards and 4 touchdowns. Hake was a defensive playmaker as well with a menacing 3 sacks.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-55, which was the final score in Tescott's tilt against St. John's/Tipton Catholic. Tescott were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-49.
Lakeside's win lifted them to 1-2 while Tescott's loss dropped them down to 0-3. Tescott's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Lakeside defensive front that amassed seven sacks against Linn, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
