The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brookland-Cayce. Dutch Fork was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brookland-Cayce apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Dutch Fork still got an impressive performance from Elgin Sessions, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Walker, who scored eight points.
Dutch Fork now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Brookland-Cayce, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Dutch Fork will head out on the road to face off against White Knoll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookland-Cayce, they will be playing at home against Lower Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lower Richland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
