The St. Joseph Knights will face off against the Kingsburg Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
If St. Joseph beats Kingsburg with 11 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Knights were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Arroyo Grande on Monday. Considering the Knights have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Khandi Rodriguez looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaycie Gavlak, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Vienn Bowker, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
St. Joseph kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Kingsburg had just enough and edged out Templeton 3-2 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one run.
Riley Cogburn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Sarah Urbieta was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 10-2-1. As for Kingsburg, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Kingsburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Joseph hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314. It's a different story for Kingsburg, though, as they've only averaged .214. Will they be able to contain St. Joseph's hitters?
St. Joseph got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Kingsburg by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
