While Cascade's win against Lebanon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cadets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 5-3. The win was familiar territory for the Cadets, who have now won seven games in a row.

Royce Bright looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on TJ Turner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Marcus Hobson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Cascade's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lebanon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade will host Indianapolis Kings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lebanon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clinton Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
