Camp Point Central's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Macomb Bombers by a score of 57-49. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Camp Point Central to victory were Lexi Niekamp and Agnes Genenbacher. Niekamp shot 40% from the field on her way to 19 points and three steals, while Genenbacher dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Niekamp is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karleigh Dearwester, who posted six points.

Camp Point Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Camp Point Central's record now sits at 2-3. As for Macomb, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Camp Point Central will face off against Illini West at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Macomb, they will take on Lewistown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
