The Strawn Greyhounds can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 53-16 victory over Bluff Dale on the road. Strawn might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 27 points or more this season.
Despite the defeat, Bluff Dale saw an underclassman step up: Kallie Dotson scored no points along with 11 rebounds.
Strawn's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Bluff Dale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.
Strawn will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Gorman at 6:15 p.m. on January 9th. As for Bluff Dale, they will be playing at home against Three Way at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Three Way comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
