Griffith and Knox squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Griffith had to settle for second. They took a hard 50-35 fall against the Redskins. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Myles McLaughlin, who rushed for 410 yards and six scores while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 37 yards and one touchdown for Knox. McLaughlin's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 24th straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Griffith's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Knox, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Griffith does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Knox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mishawaka Marian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: McLaughlin and Vinny Gruber.
