Tuff Street Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, LaSalle got the W thanks in part to Tuff Street playing the best football he has all season. Street rushed for 185 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (108.7) per game. His passing game has become a key predictor of LaSalle's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.
The win was the third in a row for LaSalle, bringing their record for this year to 3-3. Street and LaSalle will head out to square off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jacorian Shepherd produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Montgomery to the win on Friday. Shepherd rushed for 293 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.3).
The victory got Montgomery back to even at 3-3. Shepherd and Montgomery will head out on the road to square off against St. Mary on Friday.
