The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northeast Metro RVT in their matchups with Greater Lawrence Tech: they've now lost nine in a row.
Northeast Metro RVT's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Zullo, who scored 14 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Outlaw, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Northeast Metro RVT's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Metro RVT will take on Rockport at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Rockport's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whittier RVT at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Whittier RVT will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Greater Lawrence Tech is ranked 120th).
