The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arendell Parrott Academy in their matchups with Wayne Country Day: they've now lost eight in a row.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Oliver LuQuire, who scored six points.
Wayne Country Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlos Vazquez led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. Vazquez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kayleb Coles, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Arendell Parrott Academy's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Wayne Country Day, their win bumped their record up to 24-9.
Arendell Parrott Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayne Country Day, they will take on Wayne Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
