Hulett is 2-8 against Moorcroft since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hulett Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Moorcroft Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Moorcroft took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hulett, who comes in off a win.
Hulett gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past Meeteetse, posting a 52-19 win at home.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Moorcroft, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They had to suffer through a rough 54-10 loss at the hands of Tongue River. Moorcroft was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Moorcroft struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Hulett's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Moorcroft, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
Hulett was dealt a bruising 69-37 defeat at the hands of Moorcroft in their previous matchup back in February. Can Hulett avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
