2A - South recap September 24, 2013
San Juan was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in 2A - South. Earlier in the week, the Broncos defeated Parowan 24-0.

South Sevier's dynamic duo of Trevor Jones and Dallyn Owens proved to be unstoppable against Enterprise, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Jones threw for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns and Owens had 51 yards receiving. Jaaron Nielsen helped South Sevier's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 43 yards.
The Rams' dynamic duo of Jones and Owens proved tough for the Wolves to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Jesse McMullin was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 122 yards on 19 carries as Beaver lost to Enterprise. Teammate Kasen Hutchings added to the ground attack by rushing for 16 yards.
Jones put up the best numbers in passing as Weston Zabriskie's team fell to Malin Williams' team.
Jake Topham made the biggest impact on defense this week as Parowan lost to Monty Lee's team. He.
Owens was the best receiver in the league this week as the Rams fell to the Wolves.
He was 21-30 with 0 interception.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Michael Roberts. The Beaver star has 15 catches for 365 yards.
The top two teams in 2A - South will face off this week when first place Grand County takes on second place Enterprise. Last week, Grand County lost to the Beavers, while Enterprise topped South Sevier.
The Wolves led the league in scoring this week after putting up 32 points on the Rams. Michael Dougherty ran for 109 yards and caught 1 pass for 13 yards during the win.
