East Henderson has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  face off against the Smoky Mountain Mustangs at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
 On Monday, East Henderson fell victim to a  tough 20-2 defeat at the hands of Franklin.

 Meanwhile, while Smoky Mountain put up some  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Tuscola. Smoky Mountain came out on top against Tuscola by a score of  5-0. The  victory was just what Smoky Mountain needed coming off of  a  20-1 loss in their prior  contest.
  Abby Branning was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kaitlyn Taquette, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 East Henderson's defeat was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Smoky Mountain, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record  this season.
 East Henderson came up short against Smoky Mountain in their previous meeting  on Tuesday, falling  9-5. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Smoky Mountain's  Addie Mull, who   struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Now that East Henderson knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
