Basketball Game Preview: Miami Christian Victors vs. Palmer Trinity Falcons

The Miami Christian Victors will face off against the Palmer Trinity Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Miami Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season.

Miami Christian will head into Tuesday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against Sports Leadership & Management, falling 74-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Victors have suffered since December 16, 2024.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Maria De Gracia, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Frida Acevedo De Luca, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Palmer Trinity waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Buccaneers 55-31. With the Falcons ahead 34-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Palmer Trinity pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Miami Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Miami Christian won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, slipping by Palmer Trinity 50-49. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Palmer Trinity's Jade Leon, who put up 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
