Savannah had a senior duo take command as Tania Bryant scored 18 points and Ernajah Mallard scored 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Bryant has scored at least 25% of Savannah's points. Kennedy Williams was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Savannah back to even at 2-2. As for Groves, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Savannah will be playing in front of their home fans against Screven County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
